My boys in What Made Milwaukee Famous are back! While this isn't my favorite song of theirs...or even in the top 5...I think it shows some promise for the new album that is to come in January.
What Made Milwaukee Famous - Gone and Done It Now
ps - the new amc dine-in theater in marina is no alamo drafthouse, but i liked it...eating dinner and drinking while watching a movie is awesome.
Felt like something a little older today. LOVED these guys at the tail of end of high school and well into college, but haven't really revisited them in some time. They were the "other" big rock band in Canada in the late 90s after Our Lady Peace, but never really broke whatsoever in the US. A lot of great stuff across their albums...and Matthew Good went on to do some good solo stuff, though I haven't listened to anything new since like 2005. This one's a pretty sweet rocker.
For anyone visiting this space on any sort of regular basis, I apologize for the lack of updates lately. Here's a good one to try and get things back on track....
A Silent Film - Danny, Dakota & the Wishing Well
ps - i get to go to the dentist for a crown tomorrow. i'm old.
Since it's one of those "milestone birthdays" and all... my favorite song from my favorite band...beautifully acoustified. The best part is that the real version of this was playing on my alarm clock radio when I woke up this morning.
Foo Fighters - Everlong (Acoustic)
ps - foo fighters acoustic in chicago is still the best show i've ever been to.
