Critics
are SKEWERING AiH's latest album, NOW
+ 4EVA, with blurbs like:
"The result is one of the more confidently presented, mostly inoffensive and ultimately inconsequential albums in recent memory" [Paste]
and
"This half-baked record teeters on a constant
sonic sugar crash, unable to sustain energy or interest for prolonged periods."
[Under the Radar]
but with this being the 2nd song from this album that's made the FASotD, maybe I'm missing something...
Sure this one steals (knowingly and intentionally) from the likes of Madonna, Kylie and Robyn to name a few, but how can you not get swept away in it's emphatic joy?
Architecture in Helsinki - I Might Survive
ps - i just want to dance to this all night long
